Barrel-O-Fun '61 and '62 and Fun Spot '61 and '62 are "Ohio Dime Games" as Jeffrey Lawton calls them in his book "Bally Bingo Pinball Machines".
I've wrapped four games into one episode since Barrel-O-Fun '61 and '62 are the same game (run in different years), and Fun Spot '61 and '62 are the same game as Barrel-O-Fun without the replay button on the front of the game.
These games are six card bingos that do not earn replays. Instead, they earn 'score' which can be used to play new games... but are not at all replays.

Can Can is a beautiful magic screen bingo with a great feature set.
This game has extended time, rollovers, extra balls, a blue section that scores 300 or 600, an orange section that scores as green or gives the OK game. On top of all that, you can also light both super sections (which allow you to score 2 as 3, 3 as 4, and 4 as 5) via the white button on the front of the cab.

Lite-A-Line is a fantastic, difficult six card bingo.
This machine has the possibility of a random, spotted center number, and yellow lines, which score differently than the rest of each card.

Touchdown is the first Magic Numbers bingo that Bally produced. Instead of a 2x2 square of numbers that rotates, you have a 3x2 rectangle that rotates!
Pic-a-play returns with triple-deck scoring, an extended time tree, a center spotted number, and the ability to earn a 5-in-a-line by sinking balls in each of the numbers in the bottom-right quadrant (the star numbers).

Fun-Spot is another of the "Ohio Dime Games" as Jeffrey Lawton, author of Bally Bingo Pinball Machines, calls them.
Instead of earning replays on these machines, you earn a lighted score advance for each 3, 4, or 5 in a row.
This six card game has another fantastic carnival or state fair-themed art package, and brings in a regular six card bingo feature - Super Lines!

Laguna Beach is next in our chronological tour of Bally's bingos! It is a Magic Screen game with the OK feature, super sections, an extended time tree, blue section scores as green 5, and orange section scores as green.
Beautiful artwork and very fun gameplay make this a great bingo.

Ava and I spent the evening together - I taught her some of the basic schematic symbols, along with some very basic troubleshooting, like checking continuity. We recap the info from tonight.
Her impressions and reactions to this new information - we're in the home stretch of the Turf King.

Fun Way is the first of a few games that Jeffrey Lawton calls the "Ohio Dime Games". Please see the book Bally Bingo Pinball Machines for more information.
Fun Way is a six card bingo - instead of earning replays, you earn a 'score' - the score can, in fact, be used exactly like a replay. Wonder if you could gamble with that? ;-)

Sea Island was Bally's second Magic Screen game - they added another section of the screen, and according to Phil's site, bingo.cdyn.com, they made it easier to achieve the feature.
A full extended time tree (after 5th) gives the player the ability to score in each color.
The extra section completely changes the gameplay with the small, difficult blue section.

Carnival Queen ushers in the era of the Magic Screen! Magic Screen games are the most popular among many bingo players.
Instead of a flat bingo card, there is instead a movable grid that makes up each column of the bingo card. As you move the screen, each column will shift and reveal colored sections. If you land three in the section (not necessarily adjacent!) you will win the indicated replays on the backglass.
This game was also the first to feature the 'R' button to register your replays. Prior games would automatically find winners and count them up. Now, it is totally under the player's control.
